This is a must-upgrade to any 1980-1986 Mustangs when doing a 4-wheel disc conversion to ensure proper braking. Included in this kit is a re-manufactured master cylinder for the 1993 Cobra that will bolt directly up to your brake booster. Along with it, we include the correct adapter hardlines to go between the master and the factory proportioning valve. Making it simple to get the correct parts and not having to worry about mismatched fittings or making your own lines.
1993 Cobra Master CylinderThis is a newly re-manufactured master cylinder for the popular 1993 Cobra. The large 1" bore design is ideal for the added performance needs of rear disc brakes. Each Master cylinder is thoroughly inspected and rebuilt to meet or exceed factory specifications. These Mustang brake master cylinders are ready to bolt on. This master cylinder includes the brake fluid reservoir, a reservoir cap, and a low brake fluid sensor.
Maximum Motorsports Adapter Hard LinesThe Maximum Motorsports kit allows installing a 1993 Cobra master cylinder in a 1980-1986 Mustang with either the stock location proportioning valve. It provides brake lines (with the proper fittings on each end) that fit the master cylinder while retaining the rest of the vehicle's stock brake line routing. Maximum Motorsports uses only high-pressure rated fittings and lines designed for use in automotive brake systems. No cutting or flaring of brake lines is needed with this kit. When installing a 1993 Cobra master cylinder on 1980-1986 Mustangs, these pre-bent brake lines, and a direct bolt-in.
