Inner & Outer Door Belt Weatherstrip KitKeep moisture and other elements out of your 1987-93 Mustang interior with this 5.0 Resto inner and outer door belt weatherstrip kit! Over time the rubber weatherstrip on your Mustang dry rots and cracks. This kit will restore your seals to factory new to ensure your interior stays dry. Kit includes both driver and passenger side inner & outer belt weatherstrips. The door belt weatherstrip, sometimes called "dew wipe", is located on the inside of the door belt molding and presses against the door glass to seal it off from water. It attaches to the top of the door with rivets that can be purchased locally from any hardware store. Often times this piece dry rots and cracks, which can be painful if you rest your arm on the window sill while driving. The inner door belt weatherstrip is the piece that attaches to your interior door panel. This piece has a felt lining that wipes the window clean when it goes up and down. When this piece goes bad it can scratch the window or window tint. This is also the same piece that has a chrome strip attached to enhance interior looks.
