Restore the power door lock function in your 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustang with this high-quality 5.0 Resto door lock actuator. Over years of use, the door lock actuator can become rusted, or the solenoid can stop functioning. Replace that non-functioning door lock actuator with an improved, stronger, and smoother operating door lock actuator. These door lock actuators include a durable rubber boot designed to keep foreign contaminants out of the solenoid. New and non-remanufactured actuators will put your mind at ease, knowing that you will have many more years of service! 5.0 Resto includes a new rivet this is made to replicate the OE rivets as closely as possible with the correct diameter head and durable satin black finish. This 1/4" rivet has the proper length and engagement to keep the actuator anchored in place for years to come.

Tested for Quality
5.0 Resto has undergone rigorous testing that includes putting extra weight on the actuator arm to ensure it still functions under normal operating conditions. These tests (when compared against other actuators) resulted in a strong, efficient motion any time the lock switch was engaged. To ensure you experience the same results in your Fox Body, you must ensure the surrounding components are in working order during installation. This includes proper lubrication of the actuator rod, a non-seized or gummed up door latch assembly, and new door latch bushings.
