On most 1979-1986 Mustangs, they did not come equipped with a factory dead pedal to rest your foot on while cruising. Offered later on as a Ford Motorsport upgrade part and factory equipped on the SVO/later 1987-1993 cars, this dead pedal kit is a great addition for cars that were not as lucky to have these installed from the factory. 5.0 Resto saw the need to reproduce this restoration part due to the fact that just like the rest of the pedals on your Fox Body have worn out. Constructed from a heavy gauge steel bracket that has been e-coated in a satin black finish, this dead pedal utilizes a durable plastic pedal pad that is the correct size and features the exact same amount of groves as the original! 5.0 Resto is committed to providing accurate restoration parts for your 1979-1993 Mustang by ensuring these are made to factory dimensions and tolerances! Installation can be performed with common hand tools and two small holes needing to be made for the included self-threading attachment bolts.
