1983-1993 Mustang Convertible Quarter Window Guide Resto Kit
So your 1983-1993 Mustang Convertible suffers from the sloppy 1/4 window syndrome. The cause of sloppy convertible quarter windows can be caused by the combination of a broken 1/4 Window Guide Rod Mount and worn or broken Window Guide Bushings. From the factory, 83-93 Mustang Convertibles were equipped with a less than optimal plastic Quarter Window Guide Rod Lower Mount. They are very prone to break and cause some of the "sloppiness" you experience. To completely remedy the issue, we offer this Mustang Convertible Quarter Window Guide Restoration Kit! The Billet Guide Rod Mount is the only one of its kind on the market and is exclusive to LMR. Two are included along with all new attaching hardware and four new Window Guide Bushings for ease of installation. This kit comes with everything you need to do both quarter window guides! You only want to replace these once as they are a pain to get to, so make sure you go for the complete solution!
