1979-2010 Mustang Power Steering Filter - 3/8"

Add some protection to your steering system on your 1979-2010 Mustang with this inline power steering filter! Anytime you have a power steering rack or pump failure metal, dirt, and debris can get into the power steering fluid and cause even more damage to components. From the factory, Ford did not install a filter into the system but now you can with this simple to install power steering filter. Constructed from high-quality aluminum filter housing with 3/8" hose barbs and durable O-ring seals. Designed to be installed on the 3/8" power steering return line that goes between the rack and the pump. Simply cut the hose at a convenient spot and install the filter with the supplied hose clamps making sure the filter is oriented in the correct direction of fluid flow. Don't forget to flush your system while you have the return hose disconnected.
