Large Rivet Gun This large rivet gun is perfect for factory rivets on Mustang door handles, window regulators, bumper covers, etc. but will also work great for jobs around the house or workshop. The built-in rivet collection bottle catches spent rivets to keep your work environment clean and safe. This rivet gun comes included with 5 different size nose pieces to work with 1/8", 5/32", 3/32", 3/16" and 1/4" rivets. Just use the included open-end wrench to swap out the nose piece and you are on to the next job. You will also receive 50 general purpose rivets in assorted sizes.
How To Use A Large Rivet Gun - Rivet Installation- Select the correct rivet for the material and thickness. The rivet head should extend approximately 3/16" beyond the work piece.
- Install the correct nose piece and tighten it with a wrench.
- Load the rivet by opening the handles and inserting the mandrel fully into the nose piece.
- Position the rivet through the work piece and hold the gun firmly against the surface.
- Squeeze the handles several times until the rivet is fully set and the mandrel shears.
- Remove the mandrel by opening the handles, then discard it.
CAUTION: The rivet gun can recoil when the mandrel shears. Keep a firm grip and maintain control to prevent injury or damage to the vehicle.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Wipe the tool clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed.
- Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
- Apply a light-grade oil to the moving parts periodically.
Safety

- Keep the work area clean and children away from the tool.
- Do not use while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Inspect the rivet gun for damaged parts before each use.
- Repair or replace damaged parts before operating the tool.
