If you're seeing rear-end fluid on the garage floor or notice some dampness on the differential housing, it may be time to replace your Mustang's seal and repair a worn pinion seal shaft. The pinion seal is located on the backside of your pinion flange, connecting to the driveshaft. This seal can become brittle and crack, which causes gear fluid to leak out; when this happens, it can also cause the pinion gear to become worn. The included Redi-sleeve repair kit easily installs onto your pinion seal shaft with the included installation tool to make for a smooth mating surface for your new seal. Utilizing quality components, this kit includes a pinion repair sleeve kit, a Ford pinion seal, and Ford Performance pinion nut.
