5.0 Resto Rear Pinion Snubber Kit - Stock HeightAllow your rear suspension to work properly with this high-quality reproduction 1986-2004 Mustang pinon snubber kit from 5.0 Resto! Often rusted out, missing, or damaged due to neglect, your factory pinion snubber and bracket serve a vital role in your rear suspension. Its job is to limit the rear suspension travel as well as it is designed to "snub" the axles pinion as it rises due to axle wrap. This 5.0 resto kit comes complete with a new bracket, rubber pinion snubber, and all the mounting hardware needed. Pinion Snubber BracketFeaturing durable, heavy-gauge stamped steel construction, this bracket is built to last. Utilizing the correct bends and mounting hole locations, this 5.0 Resto bracket is identical to the original and a direct replacement. Finished in a durable yellow dichromate zinc finish, this bracket will resist corrosion for years to come. Included with this kit are the pinion snubber bracket retaining bolts and j-nuts needed for installation. All hardware is the correct length and thread pitch to secure the new bracket into its proper factory location on the bottom of the rear floor pan.
Rubber Pinion SnubberSupplied with this kit is a brand-new 5.0 Resto factory-style rubber pinion snubber. Designed to be an exact reproduction of the factory pinion snubber with the same durometer rubber for stock ride comfort. Working best with stock ride height, this pinion snubber allows for the correct amount of suspension travel and axle wrap for correct suspension geometry. Made with the correct mounting stud and alignment tab for simple installation.
