When attempting to install dual exhaust on your 1982-1985 Mustang, you'll need a double hump transmission crossmember. This cross member allows the exhaust to tuck up under the car as the 1986-93 Mustang exhaust does. This high-quality crossmember is adjustable for use with most engine/transmission crossmembers including Tremec transmission swaps. The outer tubes are not welded to the center support so that you can adjust forward or backward to fit your application. This double hump adjustable cross member is constructed using high-quality steel materials for strength and durability. Rubber transmission cross member bushings with sleeves are included to maintain factory ride quality and vibration resistance.
