Convertible Top Tension Cables
Prevent the convertible top on your 2005-2013 Mustang from shrinking up and pulling away with new convertible top tension cables. S197 Mustang convertible top tension cables (or hold down cables) are located on the outer edges of your Mustang's convertible top. They are designed to keep the convertible top material from flapping or fluttering when traveling at highway speeds. If you notice that your 05-13 Mustang's convertible top is making more noise than usual when driving or you are installing a new top on your Mustang, make sure you install new convertible top hold down cables. It's a small price to pay to know your top is done right.
Fitment Note
This set of cables is intended for 2005-2013 Mustangs ONLY and measures 52-5/8" overall. Ford made a mid-year change and some 13-14 convertibles used 45-1/4" cables. Please measure your factory cables before ordering to verify fitment.
