From the factory, your 5.0 equipped Mustang utilized a sound tube that was designed to send a small amount of engine noise to the passenger cabin. This additional noise was somewhat artificial sounding at best. With the addition of an aftermarket cold air intake and other performance mods, this added cabin noise can become droning and annoying. This sound tube also takes up critical space under the hood and can be unsightly with no additional performance benefits. Delete it from the intake tube!
