Mustang Halo Headrests
Restore the interior of your 1984-1986 Fox Body Mustang by replacing your worn headrests with 5.0 Resto's premium halo headrests! Ford had several halo headrest options in the early years of the Fox Mustang, but perhaps the most refined and sought after halos were found in 1984-1986 GTs. 5.0 Resto's headrests are an exact reproduction of the netless halos found in these cars. With over 30+ years of use, the factory halo headrests tended to lose their shape, color and would soften over time causing deterioration and cracks due to the injected foam design. 5.0 Resto's halo headrests replace your worn units with an entirely new headrest, not a refurbished core making them the perfect solution for your restoration!
5.0 Resto Quality
5.0 Resto products are designed and manufactured with an OEM fit and finish in mind, and these halo headrests are no exception! Starting with a beefy machined aluminum mount, these headrests are then molded in 100% polyurethane. Due to the characteristics of polyurethane, you will notice right away how sturdy the material is compared to the factory headrest. During the molding process, the polyurethane material is formed with the factory grain and texture while it receives its black color.
Color Note
Although these headrests are finished in black, these are designed to be painted to match your interior color with our wide variety of interior paint. (reference our on-car photos above!)
