Replace your warped or damaged flexplate on your 1979-1995 Mustang 5.0 with factory-style replacement. The flex plate connects the crankshaft of the engine to the transmission torque converter and has the starter ring gear attached to allow proper stater engagement. Made of a thick piece of heavy gauge steel with the correct bolt holes for the torque converter and teeth count for the starter. A damaged flex plate can create serious engine or transmission damage. Designed with a 164-tooth ring gear and the correct 50oz imbalance, this is a direct replacement for your factory 1979-1995 Mustang 5.0 flexplate.
