Ram HDX Master Clutch Replacement Kit
Got a slipping, damaged, or malfunctioning clutch in your 1982-1993 Mustang 5.0? Latemodel Restoration has the solution with this Ram HDX master clutch replacement kit. This kit features all of the needed components to get your clutch replaced and your Foxbody back on the road. This all in one kit featuers a Ram HDX clutch kit with 10 spline disc, a new flywheel, a pressure plate bolt & dowel kit, flywheel bolts, rear main seal, a pilot bearing and a T5 steel bearing retainer.

Ram HDX Clutch Kit
The RAM HDX Clutch kits are the perfect performance upgrade for your daily driver/hot rod Mustang 5.0L. The RAM Pressure Plate features an increased clamp load of 2500lb. (compared to the stock pressure plate at 2000lb clamp load) while maintaining a great pedal feel. The RAM 10 spline clutch disc is faced with the 300 series friction material on both sides & features a 5 spring center hub for excellent shock absorption. The 300 series material consists of steel backed organic facing material that greatly increases rotational strength.

5.0 Resto Steel Flywheel
This 50resto cast iron flywheel is a great stock replacement for your 86-95 Mustang 5.0L. It is an exact replacement for 1986-87-88-89-90-91-92-93-94-95 Mustang 5.0L stock flywheel, but can also be used on 1982-83-84-85 Mustang 5.0L if upgrading to a 10.5" clutch.

T5 Steel Bearing Retainer
The Input Bearing Retainer on T5 equipped 1983-1993 Fox Body Mustangs also doubles as a Clutch Release Bearing (Throw-Out Bearing) sleeve. From the factory these Bearing Retainers were made of an aluminum base & sleeve & often developed wear grooves on the sleeve causing the Release Bearing to bind & create all manor of Clutch Engagement & Disengagement issues. Luckily Latemodel Restoration has the solution for you. Our Bearing Retainer is made of an aluminum base with a steel sleeve to eliminate wear grooves & keep your clutch movement smooth. It fits all 83-93 T5 equipped 5.0L Mustangs & is a great addition to any clutch swap.

    the kit is great, everything all bundled together but the seal inside the barring retainer is no good, it was rock hard it didn't feel right going on and when i pulled it out the seal was in pieces. A trip to two dealerships and $20 dollars later fixed the problem.

    I bought this clutch kit for my 1990 coupe. It then went on back order before it was shipped. I contacted my service rep and found out that it was the bearing retainer that was holding up the clutch kit. The service rep was great of informing me about when I should expect it to be delivered. Upon delivery, the kit was everything I needed. Great parts and great service!

    Since having the clutch installed the difference is night and day. The Stage 1 clutch pedal feel is similar to the stock clutch, but grabs the second I lift my foot. Very happy with this product:)
