Bellhousing Spacer Plate - AOD - 5.0/5.8
Replaced your warped bellhousing spacer plate on your 1979-1995 Mustang 5.0/5.8 with an AOD transmission with this bellhousing space plate! Also referred to as a block plate, this bellhousing spacer plate fits between the block and the bellhousing. If it is not used, it will throw off starter alignment and cause a noisy starter. The starter hole has a tendency to wear over the years, and that as well will cause starter alignment issues, so if you are using a block plate and you still have the starter grind, then this may be the cause. Constructed from high-quality steel to the proper thickness, it ensures a durable, long-lasting component. This replacement spacer plate is for an AOD-equipped 1979-1995 Mustang application.
