Mustang Adjustable Steering Shaft Assembly
Improve steering response by eliminating the factory rag joint with this new and improved steering shaft! This steering shaft is designed to fit Mustangs with power steering racks. The factory shaft has a rubber rag joint that over time will deteriorate and cause play in the steering shaft. This new shaft has a needle-bearing u-joint that firms up steering response for a more predictable driving experience.

High Quality Construction
This steering shaft is constructed from high strength steel for durability that lasts. The difference in this shaft is that it is not welded which allows the shaft to telescope. The telescoping ability helps you dial in the exact length you need for your application. Simply tighten the included bolts when finished to lock into place.

Fits 1979-1993 Mustang w/ Power Steering Rack

Ford Mustang - 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993

For Use With The Factory K-Member and Steering Column.
Customers Utilizing An Aftermarket K-Member Will Need To Measure The Steering Shaft Length As This Measures 6 1/4" At The Center Shaft And 13" Overall.
This Steering Shaft Will Connect The OEM Column To A Power Steering Rack.
You MAY Need Minor Modification To Headers Or Smaller Set Screws To Fit Aftermarket Headers.
