Mustang 180° Thermostat Kit
Ensure the cooling circulation is up to par on your 1979-1995 Mustang with 5.0 Resto's 180-degree thermostat kit! Thermostats are a vital component to your cooling system, and when they fail, they can cut off the circulation of your coolant. When the coolant reaches a designated temperature, the thermostat will open, allowing the coolant to flow. If the thermostat fails, this process does not get completed, which can result in overheating. 5.0 Resto includes everything you need to replace a faulty thermostat in your Mustang for a quick and easy installation!

5.0 Resto Quality
5.0 Resto is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Fox Body, and one way to do that is to ensure your engine stays running. Included in this kit are high-quality components meant to last. Featuring 5.0 Resto's own exclusive cast aluminum thermostat housing modeled after an OE housing, it has the correct recess for the thermostat and a smooth gasket mating surface to eliminate potential coolant leaks. A 3/8" NPT female threaded port is on the top, so you can mount a temperature sensor if desired. A new gasket and ARP mounting bolts are included to ensure leak-free performance for years to come! A 180-degree thermostat is included as this is the most common thermostat used. When the coolant reaches 180 degrees, the thermostat will open up to allow coolant to circulate. All factory mounting points are in place for a quick and easy installation!
