Ensure you have no fuel leaks after installing your new fuel tank with this 1982-1997 Mustang fuel tank install kit from 5.0Resto! When replacing your fuel tank, you'll need the seals in this kit to ensure the fuel stays in the tank, and the pads to ensure your tank doesn't get damaged while driving. Your old pads and seals deteriorate which makes them nontransferable to a new fuel tank. 5.0Resto includes everything you need to ensure your new fuel tank installs quickly and easily.
High-Quality Components
5.0Resto's fuel tank install kit includes high-quality components that are built to last. Featuring a new fuel tank pad kit, this install kit ensures your tank doesn't see metal-on-metal contact when raised into place. The 15.5"x14" L-Shaped pad is located in the middle of the tank, while the 5"x15" rectangular pad attaches to the driver side of the tank. The 7"x7" pad goes on the passenger side of the tank and has the fuel pump hole pre-cut. To finish out the install kit, 5.0Resto includes a new fuel filler neck grommet and vapor valve seal. These seals are built with a durable rubber construction built to last. The fuel-resistant compounds ensure leak-free performance for years to come!
