1979-1993 Mustang Fuel Door Overflow Drain Kit

Properly redirect fuel splash and protect the paint on your 1979-1993 Mustang with this fuel door overflow drain kit from Daniel Carpenter Reproductions. After years of service, the rubber overflow hose that connects the fuel filler area to the edge of the rear bumper tends to deteriorate from exposure to the exterior elements. This deterioration can cause excess fuel to splash out the fuel filler area and onto the exterior paint surface of your Mustang. To restore the proper functionality of this system, DCR has reproduced this fuel door overflow drain kit that features a brand new protective rubber grommet that installs into the backside of the fuel door area to insulate the included rubber drain hose. Connecting the rubber hose to the rear bumper is a new plastic retainer to ensure any fuel is sent to the ground and not on your paint. Correct the flow of excess fuel when filling up your Mustang for yours to come!
