Update your Fox Body to modern car audio tech using this 417 Fox double din radio bezel with HVAC control relocation for the 1990-1993 Mustang. Installing an aftermarket radio is a staple in the Mustang world, but often, you are limited to a basic upgrade. Using the 417 Fox double din bezel, you can upgrade to a larger touchscreen unit with all of the features you would want from modern tech. The issue with installing a double din radio before was that it placed it really low, making it hard to use and looking awkward. 417 Fox solved this issue by moving the HVAC controls down, giving you a more ergonomic position for easier radio control. Replacing the factory radio with a double din unit is a great way to modernize the interior and boost the audio potential in your Mustang.

Quality Craftmanship

This kit includes everything you need to properly install a double-din radio into the dash of any 1990-1993 Mustang. Each faceplate is hand-crafted one at a time by 417 Fox right here in the USA. It is constructed from a thick ABS plastic faceplate that is the proper dimension for your center console opening. With all of the correct cutouts for the HVAC controls and head unit for a nice OEM plus look. New mounting brackets are supplied that help you secure and align your choice of double-din head units into place. Nylon spacer, along with with all of the needed installation screws to attach the bezel to the console, provides a flush fit and finish between the dash.

What is a "Double Din" Radio?
DIN refers to the industry-specific size 2" x 8" opening that your factory radio fits into. DOUBLE DIN is the same width of 8" but is double the height at 4" instead of 2" to allow for newer, touch-screen style receiver units that can contain app features, Bluetooth functionality, and navigation.

Radio Install Wiring Harness (87-00) - Available
Moderate modifications to your center console, HVAC controls, dash support, and center console are required in most applications. This would be considered a custom installation, and moderate skill and an assortment of tools will be required
The dash support metal brace may need to be cut unless you are using a shallow-depth head unit.
Some wiring Modifications may also be Required. Fan Control Connector typically needs to be extended and typically has become brittle over time. This makes for a much easier installation.
