1984-1985 Mustang Single Fuel Pump Conversion KitSimplify the fuel system in your 1984 SVO and 1984-1985 5.0 w/ CFI by converting to a single high-pressure fuel pump with this kit from SVE! The factory's external high-pressure fuel pump is the main fuel supply issue in these cars and is a major restriction, very expensive, and very hard to find quality replacements. SVE has solved this problem by creating an economical solution while converting from the factory dual pump setup to a single fuel pump setup! By replacing the low-pressure in-tank lift pump with a more efficient 1986-1993 Mustang 5.0 factory-style 88 LPH fuel pump and bracket, you will still be able to utilize the stock fuel gauge. Eliminating the external high-pressure pump and relocating the fuel filter location allows the factory fuel lines to be reused. A new fuel pump, fuel pump hanger, fuel filter, bracket, and all of the associated fuel pump installation hardware that is needed are included in this kit. Some wiring modifications will be required for the conversion, so professional installation is highly recommended.

Included in this kit is a new 88 LPH fuel pump assembly that is capable of supplying more than enough fuel to your stock SVO Mustang. SVE supplies the pump assembled into the fuel hanger, ready to secure your new single fuel pump into the tank! Utilizing the correct electrical connections and pin terminals, this fuel pump hanger will reuse the factory electrical harness and eliminate the need to re-pin the harness connections. Equipped with a 5/16" supply and 1/4" return line, the provided fuel pump hanger has the correct quick-connect ends to re-use the factory fuel supply and return lines. Utilizing a 5.0 Resto fuel filter bracket that is constructed of stamped steel and plated in zinc will ensure harsh elements will not corrode it for years to come. The included Motorcraft filter is built for high flow rates and capacity while providing outstanding filtration.
