1986-1993 Mustang 5.0 Resto Idle Air Control Adjuster
This 5.0 Resto idle air control adjuster will put you one step closer to solving your 1986-1993 Mustang 5.0 engines' idle problems! This thin, adjustable aluminum plate fits between the throttle body and the idle air control motor. It allows you to adjust the flow of air in and out of the idle air control motor for better control of your Mustang’s idle speed. This 5.0 Resto plate was originally engineered by Ford to combat carbon buildup in the throttle body that restricted airflow and created low idle concerns. The Fox Body community quickly picked up on this part to help stabilize and achieve idle control on cars with camshafts and larger displacement engines. It is a must for a modified 1986-1993 5.0 EFI-equipped Mustang! 5.0 Resto's plate allows more air in, to maintain a steady idle. Made from billet aluminum construction with the threaded inserts that allow the needlepoint adjusters to be precisely fine-tuned. Brand new gaskets and the required longer IAC bolts are included to make for a quick and easy installation.

Suitable replacement for Ford OEM Idle Air By-Pass Service Kit F2PZ-9F939-A (f2pz9f939a). This adjustable IAC spacer allows fine-tuning of idle airflow to help address common idle surge, stalling, and idle stability issues on Fox Body Mustang 5.0L engines.
