1979-1993 Mustang Master Door Hinge Pin & Bushing Kit - Severely Worn Hinges
When just replacement pins and bushings don't cure the problem, try this 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustang master door hinge pin and bushing kit for severely damaged hinges from 5.0 Resto. Most late model Mustangs by now have worn-out hinge bushings, pins, and rollers, which causes misalignment, sagging doors, and them not shutting properly. This kit replaces the severely worn bushing and pins with an oversized bushing that may help to compensate for egg-shaped or enlarged pinholes in the hinge. Along with the hinge pins, new hinge rollers and roller pins are included to refresh your hinges completely. Replacement hinges are very expensive and in short supply, so this is a more economical way to repair your existing hinges. This 5.0 Resto kit may keep you from needing to replace your hinges. Each master kit includes (4) pins, (8) oversized bushings, (4) cotter pins, (2) Hinge Rollers, and (2) Hinge Roller Pins. This will repair all four hinges on your Fox Body, as two are required per door. We also recommend replacing the door latch striker as it is usually worn.
