These loops are designed to secure the driveshaft if one of the u-joints breaks and protect the driver from a rouge driveshaft shooting through the floorboard! This is a must for vehicles that endure hard acceleration such as drag racing or open track racing. NHRA required for cars running 12.99 or quicker in the quarter mile. Our safety loops are manufactured out of NHRA legal 1/4" plate steel, and are zinc coated for long lasting durability.
