A great way to get better performance from your 1979-1993 Mustang is by reducing weight. Team Z has put together a black hammertone Matrix tubular K-member kit that will give you great weight reduction and a better-performing suspension all in one! This kit includes a tubular K-member, tubular A-arms, and a 12" 200lb spring rate coil over kit to replace your factory steel components. With the included coilover kit, you can easily adjust the ride height of your Mustang to get the perfect look! Chromoly control arms will save more weight and exceed any strength limitations of mild steel, while allowing maximum clearance. This kit was designed for the abuse of drag racing and Street Enthusiasts, most importantly, it will handle the everyday wear and tear of city & highway streets.

Required Parts

79-93 applications will need an 87-93 V8 or 94-04 spindle and applicable struts for proper fitment. The coil-overs included are designed to fit stock, Koni Yellow adjustable, Koni Orange non-adjustable, or Strange 10-way adjustable.
Requires the use of caster camber plates.
1979-1984 Mustang owners will be required to use offset 85-04 rack bushings.
1985-1993 Mustang owners will be required to use offset rack bushings.
This kit uses Fox Body style ball joints and will REQUIRE the ball joint spacer kit when using SN95 spindles.
Spanner wrench not included.

If you are running solid motor mounts, Team Z requires using LRS-74766 solid engine mount

Fitment Notice

1979-1993 Mustangs w/ pushrod 5.0/5.8
Factory and aftermarket engine mounts may have alignment pins that can cause fitment issues. Removal of the alignment pin might be necessary for correct mating of the engine mount to the K-member.
Team Z K-member suggests Team Z solid engine mounts; the Team Z K-Member's other brand solid mounts may have fitment issues.
Coil over conversion may reduce the area between the strut and wheel. High positive offset wheels or wide wheels may have clearance issues between wheels/tires and coilover setup
Depending on your vehicle, modification of the stock steering shaft or a low profile steering shaft may be required.
