1999-2004 SVT Lightning Fuel Tank

Ensure you have no fuel leaks on your 2nd Gen Sport Truck with this 1999-2004 SVT Lightning fuel tank from LMR! Constructed from stamped steel, this fuel tank will stand up to tough conditions while safely storing your Lightning's fuel. Featuring the correct mounting flange for the fuel pump hat in the factory location makes it easy to transfer your pump into the new tank with no modifications. To make tank installation easier, the fuel tank's corners and pinch welds have been bent and formed according to the shape of the tank's location under the bed. Matching the factory fuel tank's capacity, this tank holds 24.5 gallons of fuel. Pre-cut holes have been made where the fuel pump, vapor valves, and filler neck install for simple installation of the required accessories. Don't forget to get a new fuel tank seal and new fuel tank straps to complete your installation. Make sure to add a new fuel tank to your next Lightning fuel system upgrade!

Fitment Notice

Must use supplied hardware for fuel pump hat factory hardware will not work.
Upon inspection of the fuel tank, you will notice there are bends in the pinch welds. This is done during production by the manufacturer so you have the proper clearance for the tank straps and fuel tank cover.
This fuel tank does not come with all the necessary seals and grommets.
