Prevent premature pilot bearing failure with these Lakewood .007" offset bellhousing dowel pins for your 1979-1995 Mustang! Offset dowel pins help to ensure your bellhousing is properly centered on the back of the engine block. If the bellhousing register bore is misaligned, it can cause missed shifts or premature pilot bearing failure. Made from centerless ground .500" diameter steel with a .007" offset, these dowel pins replace the stock alignment dowel pins. Lakewood makes them extra long, measuring .873" in length, for use with block plates. Featuring a hex head in the dowel for easy adjustment without having to remove the dowel from the block. Ensure your transmission is properly centered with the help of these Lakewood offset bellhousing dowel pins.
