Malwood Hydraulic Clutch Pedal Kit - Manual Pedal Assembly
MalWood’s hydraulic clutch pedal kit converts your existing 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustang cable-actuated clutch pedal into a hydraulics style with an easy bolt-in installation. Unlike other complicated units with separate master cylinder installs, locations, and cumbersome linkages, MalWood’s master cylinder is built into the new clutch pedal assembly, leaving you with nothing to adjust constantly. With almost complete bolt-in installation, you're ready to go in no time without major modifications needed. Achieve a better pedal feel with this hydraulic clutch pedal featuring a new clutch pedal assembly with the master cylinder, billet reservoir, and all the needed hardware to install on almost any transmission.
Custom Under Dash Assembly
A custom-designed replacement clutch pedal is the key to Malwood's pedal conversion kit. Using a more modern design found in the 2005+ Mustangs gives you a pedal that requires less effort and has a better feel. The master cylinder is attached directly to the pedal assembly keeping everything tucked under the dash neatly. Designed to fit the factory pedal box assembly but allows the use of the preinstalled hydraulic slave cylinder. The new clutch pedal has a factory appearance but is moved down to be even with the brake pedal for easier transition between the too. No modifications are required to the factory pedal assembly as everything is a bolt on affair with the supplied grade 8 fasteners that are included. The hardest part is mounting the beautiful billet clutch fluid reservoir and routing the -3 AN line to the hydraulic throwout bearing.
