McLeod Street Level Clutch Kit

Replace the weak factory clutch in your 1986 - mid 2001 Mustang with this McLeod Street Level clutch kit! This kit is great for entry level enthusiasts that have bolt on Mustangs pushing up to 300 horsepower. The organic compound disc provides a smooth clutch engagement that is great for daily driving. The high clamp load pressure plate supports more power than the stock clutch with only a small increase in pedal effort. McLeod includes a new throwout bearing and alignment tool for a quick and easy installation!

Installation Note

Flywheel replacement or resurfacing is recommended before installation.

Fits 1986-Mid 2001 Mustang

Installation Notice

Depending on the age, mileage, and application it may be required for the clutch fork and pivot stud to be replaced due to the amount of wear these items see.

This McLeod clutch kit comes supplied with a pilot bushing, however, if you need a pilot bearing you can purchase one separately. For 1979-1993 Mustang use part number LRS-7600A. For 1996-2022 Mustangs please use LRS-7600B.

Will NOT fit V6 Mustangs. V6 models used an 11" clutch.
Check to make sure you have a T5 or T45 transmission.
This clutch fits GT Mustangs up to April of 2001.
