McLeod Street Level Master KitIf your clutch is failing on your 1982-1995 Mustang V8, the McLeod clutch will get you started with all the essential clutch components that you will need for your performance clutch install. We have combined all the parts that are sometimes forgotten on most clutch installs in this kit. This kit is also a great upgrade for the 1982-1985 V8 Mustangs that were factory-installed with 10" clutches. This kit even includes a Ford Performance rear main seal so that you can replace your gasket for more worry-free miles!
McLeod QualityThis kit is great for entry-level enthusiasts who have bolt-on Mustangs pushing up to 300 horsepower. The organic compound disc provides a smooth clutch engagement that is great for daily driving. The high clamp load pressure plate supports more power than the stock clutch with only a small increase in pedal effort. McLeod includes a new throwout bearing and alignment tool for a quick and easy installation!
5.0 Resto Cast Iron Flywheel - 10.5" - 50oz 5.0 Resto had these made from a factory-style cast iron construction that is both durable and has a long-lasting service life. Utilizing machined surfaces on all of the matting areas for a flush, even attachment of the clutch and to the engine. Precision balanced on a Hines balancing machine to reduce potential vibrations and uneven wear. The new replacement flywheel features a 157-tooth starter ring gear and is designed to be used with all 10.5" clutches. All of the threaded mounting holes and dowel pins match exactly with the factory unit.
Installation Notice
- Depending on the age, mileage, and application it may be required for the clutch fork and pivot stud to be replaced due to the amount of wear these items see.
- This McLeod clutch kit comes supplied with a pilot bushing, however, if you need a pilot bearing you can purchase one separately. For 1979-1993 Mustang use part number LRS-7600A. For 1996-2022 Mustangs please use LRS-7600B.
