Mustang Geek Carpet Saver Floor Mat Anchor Kit
Mustang Geek solved the annoying problem of your floor mat sliding around in your 1979-2004 Mustang with this floor mat anchor kit. Sadly, the Fox Body Mustang didn't even come with a floor mat anchor, and the 1994-2004 Mustang factory plastic anchor leaves much to be desired. The floor mat anchor kit stops the floor mats from slipping toward the pedals on 1979-1993 Mustangs and prevents the floor mat retaining hook from ripping the carpet on 1994-2004 Mustangs! By anchoring the bracket directly to the seat stud, it keeps the floor mat from moving around. This relieves the carpet from the stress of the retaining hook holding the mat in place on SN95 and New Edge Mustangs.

Mustang Geek is dedicated to making products that make your Mustang better, and this "Carpet Saver" is no different. The bracket is made from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, so it won't corrode from anything you track into the car. A durable powder-coated matte black finish is applied to help it blend into most interiors flawlessly. The bracket can be installed either above or below the carpet using the supplied stainless steel hardware and stepped spacer, depending on your application. Easily installed into existing Fox Body floor mats with simple modifications or using 1994-2004 floor mats with the built-in retainer ring.
