1990-1991 Mustang Door Chime Module Fix
Restore your 1990-1991 Fox Body Mustang's door chime sound and make it audible again with this Mustang Geek door chime module repair kit. The door chime module on 1990-1991 Mustangs is under the dashboard near the steering column. It is what creates the beeping noise when the door is open over time, the foam surround on the speaker inside the module disintegrates, and the chime module gets quieter or stops working altogether. This kit restores the chime function by replacing the deteriorated foam with an O-ring made to the correct size and durometer. Once installed, it applies the appropriate pressure to the speaker to restore proper function and volume. With the included instructions, only a socket, a razor blade, and a small flat-head screw driver are needed to do the repair in a few minutes.
