An exclusive tri-layer design is capable of carrying max loads of up to 12,000 psi, which is up to 60% higher than the load of stock bearings. The inner copper-lead alloy layer, precision steel back layer, and an electroplated white metal "babbitt" surface layer reduce drag while increasing horsepower. Enlarged chamfers are used for greater crankshaft clearance and are made without flash plating like the competition for better seating.
