A common issue with the Voodoo engine is cracking around the threaded inserts on the back of the engine block where the transmission attaches. This is due to the large unsupported area on the lower half of the transmission that isn't bolted directly to the engine. Adding MMR's brace kit, you spread that load out across the four rearmost side oil pan bolts on the engine and attach it to the lower portion of the transmission bellhousing.
