Hot Forged Distributor
Performance Distributors Hot Forged Distributor is the replacement you need to provide your 1986-1993 Mustang 5.0L with reliable performance and show-quality looks! This brand new forged aluminum distributor encompasses the toughness and durability that the 5.0L Mustang engine demands. Hot forging provides a denser, stronger, and more durable aluminum distributor compared to cast aluminum and billet distributors.

High-Quality Construction
Each Mustang Distributor is tested for thermal shock and RPM accuracy between 8000 and 10,000 rpms. Hot Forged Distributors are machined using computerized CNC mills and lathes to create exact tolerances. This Mustang distributor includes Performance Distributors high dwell Dyna-Mod TFI Ignition Module for increased spark duration which provides a better burn of the air/fuel mixture. Each distributor comes with a steel gear installed for use with roller camshafts.

High-Frequency Induction Hardened OR Melonized Steel Distributor Gears - can be used on any cam material (Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Cast Steel, Billet Steel), stock or aftermarket, roller or flat tappet.
This distributor does NOT have the provisions for locking out timing.
