Body mount bushings, or cab bushings, are the bushings that the cab of your truck sits on over the frame isolating the truck cab from the chassis. The factory rubber bushings in your cab mounts deteriorate and dry rot which causes ride quality and handling problems. Prothane urethane bushing kit reduces deflection, compared to rubber, to improve handling and ride quality. Along with reduced deflection, urethane features a long service life and is not vulnerable to road grime or UV rays. Supplied with brand new zinc coated hardware to replace the rusted or broken factory hardware. Lifted or lowered suspensions, increases in horsepower, plus-size wheels and tires can subject traditional rubber suspension bushings to forces beyond their limits.
