Application

1979-1993 Ford Mustangs w/302 pushrod (5.0L) and 351 pushrod (5.8L)

Required Parts

While stock control arms can be used with this k-member, its is highly recommended that the QA1 control arms are used. Stock and other brand control arms are not compatible with this k-member.
Requires the use of coil-overs.
Requires the use of caster camber plates.
Requires the use of an aftermarket telescoping steering shaft for installation.

Application and Fitment Notes

Factory and aftermarket engine mounts may have alignment pins that can cause fitment issues. Removal of the alignment pin might be necessary for correct mating of engine mount to k-member.
Clunks, squeaks, and pops can be normal occurrences with coil-over setups
Coil-over conversion may reduce the area between the strut and wheel. High positive offset wheels or wide wheels may have clearance issues between wheels/tires and coil-over setup.
