Stop dealing with traditional-style hood pins that rust and scratch your paint. Go with the latest hood fastening technology, which far surpasses traditional hood pins; it's even factory-installed on the 2020 Shelby GT500. Included in this kit are the latch mechanisms, retaining rings, stainless steel nuts and washers, set screws, and hood pins, everything you need for a clean installation.

Quality Construction
The system is based around the 2.5" round aluminum latch featuring the simple push-button mechanism, all finished in satin black Cerakote. It secures the hood to the 5" stainless steel hood pin that has a 1/2-20" thread size. The patented design features one-finger activation: the button stays in the down position until re-latched, then pops back up. Installation is simple with basic tools; the only specialty tool you will need is a 1-1/2" hole saw.
