2005-2017 Mustang RAM Hydraulic Throwout (Release) Bearing
Replace the worn throwout bearing in your 2005-2017 Mustang with this heavy-duty hydraulic throwout bearing from Ram! This heavy-duty bearing is manufactured using a multi-seal design that uses two large o-rings and two PTFE backup o-rings versus the two small o-rings to seals on the OEM unit. To reduce the risk of potential failure and extend the service life, this design withstands hydraulic pressure to withstand even the highest performance clutch systems. RAM utilizes a floating design on the bearing to compensate for thermal expansion, which will ensure the longevity of the new throwout bearing. The wide range of adjustments thanks to the conical shims that simply slide over the collar. This allows you to fine-tune for different spring heights on aftermarket clutches & the heavy-duty bearing handles those higher clamp load pressure plates with ease! Working for both single-disc clutches and dual-disk clutches provides an easy setup and full adjustability. To keep from pushing the bearing off the sleeve, a snap ring is installed on the front of the piston to prevent overextension. Included in this RAM kit is a remote bleeder line making bleeding the system easier by getting the bleed screw further away from the transmission.
