RAM HDX Clutch & Flywheel Kit - 11" - 10 Spline - 6 Bolt
The RAM HDX Clutch & Flywheel Kit is the perfect performance upgrade for your daily driver/hot rod 2005-2010 S197 Mustang 4.6 3V. This complete kit is designed to replace everything needed to do a thorough clutch swap, including a rear main seal to fix that common 4.6 oil leak while you are there! The Ram HDX clutch kit has an increased clamp load pressure plate and 300 series clutch disk to support up to 450hp! Featuring a RAM HDX clutch kit with a 10-spline disc, billet steel Ram flywheel, pressure plate bolts, dowel kit, flywheel bolts, rear main seal, and pilot bearing.
RAM HDX Clutch Set - 11"
The RAM HDX pressure plate features an increased clamp load of 2500lb (compared to the stock pressure plate at 2000lb clamp load) while maintaining a great pedal feel. The RAM HDX clutch disc is faced with the 300 series friction material on both sides and features a five-spring center hub for excellent shock absorption. The 300 series material consists of steel-backed organic facing material that greatly increases rotational strength. This RAM HDX Clutch Set for your S197 is great for use with bolt-on mods and mild power enhancements and is perfect for street/strip applications but is not recommended for use with slicks. Don't forget to pick up a new throwout bearing

Ram Billet Steel Flywheel
RAM Billet Steel Flywheel is recommended as a replacement for the factory Cast Flywheel in your high-performance or race Mustang. The stock Cast Flywheel is not explosion-proof and can be dangerous when used in your high-performance Mustang at higher RPMs. This RAM Billet Steel Flywheel is CNC machined from certified materials and exceeds SFI specifications. After machining, the Flywheel is balanced ground parallel to the crankshaft mounting surface, ensuring minimum runout and the optimum mating surface for the clutch disc. Use a Billet Steel Flywheel in a heavier drag race Mustang or for the best driveability in your street-driven Mustang. This 164 tooth, neutral balance RAM Billet Steel Flywheel is perfect for your S197.
