Ram Powergrip HD Clutch Kit - 9 Bolt Cover - 11" - 23 Spline
The RAM Powergrip HD clutch for 2011-2017 5.0L Mustang is a true "strip/street" competition clutch system that can handle the rigors of weekend racing and spirited street driving. It is capable of controlling torque loads up to 650lb-ft and is even recommended for lower-power cars that frequent the track on sticky tires. This RAM Powergrip HD clutch features a high clamp load pressure plate designed to maximize holding power without seriously degrading pedal effort and feel. The 8-spring hub disc is equipped with RAM POLYCOIL damper springs encapsulated in polyurethane. This spring can handle three times the shock load of just a normal coil spring, and is standard in all RAM Powergrip discs. The friction facing is 900 series sintered iron. Sintered iron provides a degree of slippage on vehicle launch to prevent the violent and uncontrollable engagement characteristics of paddle type metallic discs.

Fitment Notice

Will work with most aftermarket flywheels as well as stock 2012-2017 5.0 9-bolt pressure plate flywheels. Only 6 Pressure Plate Bolts will be used.
Will NOT work with 2011-early 2012 5.0 stock flywheel with 6-bolt pressure plate due to the dowel pins. Replace your stock flywheel with one of our aftermarket billet options to utilize this clutch in those applications
Some chatter may occur on clutch engagement with performance clutches
Billet flywheel is strongly recommended with these clutch sets due to the aggressive clutch facing
