Scat Stroker Kit
This 1979-1995 Mustang SCAT rotating assembly will take your mild mannered 302 to a heavier hitting 347. A Series 9000 cast steel crankshaft offers a 3.400" stroke & swings a set of bushed 5.4" long Pro-stock I-beam rods featuring ARP 8740 3/8" capscrews. For maximum power and reliability, Scat adds a set of rod and main bearings and tops it off with a set of Forged pistons & rings. These Scat Street Strip rotating assemblies are designed to be used with 28oz. balance Flywheel and Harmonic balancer.

While building the short block noticed the connecting rods had zero side gap! Scat list the width as .830, mine measured .835. They will have to be milled to fit (Ford lists recommended side gap as .010).
