This Steeda slide style captive hood pin kit is a great addition to any 1979-2014 Ford Mustang! These pins install in your engine bay and on your hood to keep your hood secure at all times. The clevis pins always stay attached to the stainless steel retainer plates, which get riveted or screwed to the hood surface. The 7/16 inch diameter steel hood pins measure 4 1/2 inches from the clevis pin opening to the bottom of the pin. The clevis pins are a full 1/4 inch diameter, making these assemblies among the strongest available.
