Product Description

If you have lowered your Mustang or altered the geometry through a control arm relocation kit or Steeda's X2 Balljoints or X5 Balljoints then you have increased bump steer which needs to be corrected.

Steeda's Bump Steer Kits have a wide adjustment range for bump steer correction and feature spherical rod ends and use tapered spindle studs for a hassle free installation.

Don't buy inferior kits that require you to ruin your Mustang's spindle by drilling it out in order to install them. Do it right with Steeda's Bump Steer Kit.

Bump Steer Definition: Bump steer is a change in toe angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bump steer is built into the geometry of the Mustang suspension and Mustang steering system, and occurs independent from any steering wheel input. The effect of bumpsteer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down.

This toe change or “steering” occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump in the road. Excessive bump steer that occurs from lowering or altering suspension geometry is undesirable because the suspension is giving you unwanted steering inputs from the excessive toe changes.

5 Stars   Very Nice LMR.com Expert Review!

Very nice piece to work with and the instructions included are very straight forward. I paired this with new inner tie rods and the steering is night and day difference. Just make sure you measure your stock tie rod length before removing them and they go on like a piece of cake and will get you straight enough to get to the alignment shop.

Image uploaded by Aaron F. I have had my 2013 since april 2012 when it first came out... I mean I preorded it but anyway. I have nothing left bolt on wise and not much in the way of suspension left.. ie ball joints and k member. I put these on to help my wondering and super annoying bump steer issue I have here. I am american but im serving in the UK right now so it has been put to the test. The road are rough and it sucks but this kit has made a huge difference, my allignment guy even loves it because he has no problem getting me into proper specs with caster camber plated and now these so I would 100% recomend this kit. Thanks steeda!
