Mustang SVE Bump Steer Kit
Correct the suspension geometry on your lowered 2005-2014 Mustang, while eliminating bump steer, with this SVE bump steer kit! When you lower your S197, it throws off the factory geometry of your suspension. This leads to uneven tire wear, unpredictable steering, and bump steer. SVE's bump steer kit helps to alleviate these symptoms and improve handling. The bump steer kit replaces your factory outer tie rods and replaces them with heavy duty, spherical rod ends that adjust and correct your suspension geometry.

This Mustang SVE bump steer kit is constructed with high-quality materials that are durable and built to last. The heavy-duty spherical rod ends can handle road racing, drag racing, and daily driving duties with ease. CNC machined tapered studs and adjustable Heim joints have precision cut threads that allow you to easily adjust this kit whenever the need arises! No drilling of the spindle is required and SVE includes enough spacers to dial in your suspension exactly where you need it. Nylon nuts secure everything in place for a quick and easy installation. A black anodized finish is applied to provide corrosion protection that lasts.

What Is Bumpsteer?
Bump steer is a change in toe angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bump steer is built into the geometry of the Mustang suspension and Mustang steering system and occurs independently from any steering wheel input. The effect of bump steer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down. This toe change or “steering” occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump in the road. Excessive bump steer that occurs from lowering or altering suspension geometry is undesirable because the suspension is giving you unwanted steering inputs from the excessive toe changes.

Installation Note

LMR recommends having a professional alignment performed after any suspension work is done.
The heim joint must be completely tightened in its fixed location & all toe adjustments must be made by turning the inner tie rod which will move the black threaded body to the desired location.
The heim joint end is not meant to be an adjustment point for setting toe angle.
