2011-2017 Mustang 5.0 Crank Sensor Adapter Gen 3 Coyote
Ensure you have a proper crankshaft sensor signal in your Gen 3 Coyote-based engine in your 2011-2017 Mustang with this SVE crank sensor adapter for Gen 1/2 sensors. Designed in-house by LMR, this SVE adapter allows you to easily retain a Gen 1 or Gen 2 crankshaft sensor while utilizing a Gen 3 short block. Featuring a billet aluminum construction with the correct I.D. for the sensor and O.D. for the Gen 3 back plate. Made in the USA to the correct length to allow the sensor to sit at the proper distance from the crank trigger wheel and bolt to the factory location. Designed to be a slight press fit, going into place and then lightly tapping down to set in place. A small amount of high-temp silicone can be applied to the adapter to help secure it into the plate, but it is not required for installation.
