SVE -6AN Fuel Pump Hanger Assembly
Upgrade the fuel system in your 1986-1997 Mustang with this High Performance -6AN fuel pump hanger assembly from Special Vehicle Equipment®. When upgrading the engine in your Mustang, it's easy to meet the limitations of the factory Pump hanger and lines. Upgrading to a -6AN line will give you the additional fuel flow needed for your high performance engine.

Equipped with stainless steel -6AN fittings, this fuel pump hanger is the foundation you need, allowing for a larger volume of fuel to be supplied to your engine. SVE has also relocated the feed and return ports on this hanger to allow for an improved hose layout, which lets you run the lines cleanly outside the tank and provides more room to make your connections under the car. This hanger assembly features upgraded 3/8" feed and return lines, helping to reduce any restrictions found with a factory fuel system. With function in mind, SVE designed this hanger to include an extended return line running further down toward the pump pickup, helping minimize aeration of the fuel during the return process. The fuel supply hose has also been upgraded to an ethanol-compatible 3/8" Flex line to prevent any rubber hose failures caused by the use of modern day fuels. Finally, SVE upgraded the pump power supply wires to a larger 12-gauge wire in order to handle the demands of modern high volume fuel pumps.

Minimized Fuel Aeration - SVE has extended the return port closer to the pump pick up to help reduce and minimize fuel aeration commonly found in traditional fuel systems.
Upgraded Components - SVE offers this fuel pump hanger assembly with upgraded 12-gauge wiring for a better power delivery to your fuel pump, along with an ethanol-compatible supply hose to prevent common failures associated with rubber hoses.

Product Note

The fitting closer to the connector (more towards the center) is the Supply line, and the one farther away (toward the outer edge) is the Return line.

Fitment Notice

Since the factory connector and wiring harness are reused with this hanger, any fuel pump larger than 255 lph is not recommended due to the increased amp draw of larger pumps. An Aeromotive Premium Heavy Duty Fuel Pump Wiring Kit or equivalent is recommended for pumps with a flow rate greater than 255 lph.
If using an aftermarket pump with a body length different from the stock length, the power wiring may need to be extended to ensure proper fitment.
