Fitting 1983-93 AOD, 1994-95 AODE, and 1996-04 4R70W automatic transmissions increasing fluid capacity by 2 quarts, the added fluid allows for more efficient cooling. Its aluminum construction promotes faster heat dissipation for further cooling of your transmission, is much stronger than a stock-stamped steel pan, and mates better with an aluminum case. Designed with cooling fins to dissipate heat faster, these pans also provide additional strength and rigidity to the transmission case. Along with a magnetic drain plug, gasket, filter, and new hardware for ease of installation, this makes the perfect transmission pan for your Mustang!
