Turbosmart VR2 Dual Port BOV When upgrading your 2015-2023 Mustang EcoBoost blow-off valve (BOV), look no further than Turbosmart. Turbosmart has designed and developed this Kompact shortie dual-port BOV specifically for the 2015-2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost. This Turbosmart blow-off valve for the 2015-2023 EcoBoost Mustang is the first aftermarket BOV for the S550 EcoBoost. The Mustang Shortie is produced with a lightweight, brass/aluminum, two-piece piston. It is then matched with precision-engineered springs, giving razor-sharp valve response and a serious increase in performance over stock valves. The Kompact Shortie’s dual port design provides one plumb back port to keep your EcoBoost Mustang's computer happy and a second vent to atmosphere port for that trademark Turbosmart BOV sound we all know and love!
Turbosmart Design
Eliminate all of those problems that are known with the stock, plastic, 2015-2023 EcoBoost BOV. They leak, and if you want to turn up the power, the plastic BOV's have trouble holding the extra boost. Turbosmart Shortie BOV's are of the best quality. They are made from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. This means cracking or leaking, even under extreme boost levels, will never be an issue.
Installation Time There is no secret to installing your new Turbosmart Shortie blow-off valve. Basic hand tools such as ratchets and screwdrivers are required. You will need a T30 torx bit to remove the OEM MAP sensor bolts. Installation should take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour at most.
